Durham Performing Arts Center is a state-of-the-art, full-service facility that is ready to host your next event. Whether you need a home for a reception, meeting, conference, new product launch or other special event, our staff has the experience, skill and customer-driven philosophy to make your production a smash success.
We’ll assist you with everything needed for a great event including catering services, audio/visual equipment, room set up designs, special themed decorations and any other request that will help make your next event an outstanding one. We also have access to specially qualified vendors that can provide tents, flowers, ice sculptures, and superstar entertainment.
Available Rental Spaces
The atmosphere inside DPAC is contemporary yet comfortable, with vibrant red carpeting and warm wood accents. There are over 2,700 seats distributed on three levels (1,400 on the Orchestra floor, 600 in the Grand Tier, and 700 in the Balcony) with the furthest seat only 135 feet from the center stage. Pricing starts at $7,500 for full 2,700 seats and $6,000 for reduced 2,000 seat configuration (plus staffing, clean-up, security, sound-lights and other expenses).
BlueCross BlueShield of NC Atrium
A perfect setting for catered events, the dramatic three-story glass-walled lobby offers over 15,000 square feet of event space for gatherings up to 1,000 guests. Pricing starts at $4,500 (plus staffing, security, clean-up and other expenses).
Mildred and Dillard Teer Stage
Our 6,000 square foot stage doubles as a unique meeting, reception or party space and offers the magic of being onstage for groups of up to 500 guests. Pricing starts at $3,000 (plus staffing, security, clean-up and other expenses).
