Shen Wei’s vision of intercultural, interdisciplinary, and movement-based performance has resonated with audiences since the company’s founding at the ADF in 2000. Celebrating the 10th anniversary of this fast-ascending company, Shen Wei Dance Arts will present two programs for ADF audiences this July. Performed for two evenings, Program A will feature Map (2005) and Folding (2000). Program B will feature Rite of Spring (2003) and Folding (2000). Also included in both programs will be an ADF-commissioned World Premiere solo danced by the choreographer himself.
