Musician, singer, songwriter, actor- Lyle Lovett is one of the most distinctive and original artists of modern time. Though his music was initially labeled as country, his music ranges from country and folk to big-band swing and traditional pop seamlessly blending one from another. His music may have been hard to categorize but critical acclaim has come easily as he garnered 4 GRAMMY Awards – 3 for country and 1 for pop genres. A reluctant celebrity, he is a great Texas storyteller with a loyal cult following.
