Application Requirements
Applicants should be committed to providing top quality service to DPAC guests and clients and be able to work a flexible schedule which will include some nights, weekends, and holidays.
Potential employees must be able to provide proper identification and submit to a background check. All applicants must be legally able to work in the U.S.

Event Staff (Ushers and Ticket Takers), Box Office, VIP Services, Operations, Facilities Maintenance and Administration are just some of the many departments that regularly need part-time staff. Full time positions open more rarely and include Marketing, Operations, Ticketing, Production, Sales and Management.
Hours vary based on each department and the start time of the event.
INTERNSHIPS

The Durham Performing Arts Center (DPAC) is changing the face of entertainment in the Triangle. Interns at DPAC will have the rare opportunity to be involved with this new home for world class entertainment, a venue unlike any in the region.
Internships at DPAC provide excellent hands-on experience for college students interested in a career in performing arts and live entertainment. Interns have the opportunity to work alongside DPAC staff and participate in valuable career experiences and special projects. As an intern with DPAC, you will can a taste of the management, operations, production, sales and marketing that go into a large venue. We look forward to providing our interns with challenging tasks and rare learning experiences.
DPAC internships do require academic credit and are an ideal experience to highlight on a resume no matter what major or degree you are pursuing. See details on our internship opportunities below:
