Twelve Days of Christmas with Vince Gill and Amy Grant at DPAC

DURHAM, NC-- Music superstars Vince Gill and Amy Grant will embark on their fifth Christmas tour, the Twelve Days of Christmas and make a highly anticipated stop to DPAC, the new Durham Performing Arts Center on Tuesday, December 14th. In their two hour program, the Grammy-winning husband-and-wife team will present cherished standards and newer seasonal fare as well as some of their biggest hits.

Ticket prices start at $46 plus service charges. Friends of DPAC members may place their orders on Wednesday, July 28th and tickets go on sale Friday, July 30th at 10am, through Ticketmaster outlets including Crabtree Valley Mall, FYE and Lowes Foods, online at dpacnc.com and through the DPAC Call Center (919.680.2787). Amy Grant’s career spans nearly 30 years and stretches from her roots in gospel into an iconic pop star, songwriter, television personality, and philanthropist. Grant began embracing fans with a heartfelt singer-songwriter style mixing elements of pop, folk and country. Contemporary Christian music’s first major crossover success, she has to date earned three multiplatinum albums, six other platinum albums and four more gold albums; scored 10 Top 40 pop singles and 17 Top 40 Adult Contemporary tracks as well as a string of Contemporary Christian chart-toppers, and won six GRAMMY Awards plus numerous Dove Awards. Vince Gill has sold more than 26 million albums. He has earned 18 CMA Awards, including Entertainer of the Year in 1993 and 1994. He is tied with George Strait for having won the most CMA Male Vocalist Awards (five), and is currently second only to Brooks and Dunn for accumulating the most CMA Awards in history. Gill is a member of the Grand Ole Opry, and has received 19 GRAMMY Awards to date, the most of any male Country artist. An avid golfer, he helped create the annual Vince Gill Pro-Celebrity Invitational Golf Tournament in 1993 in order to help support junior golf programs throughout Tennessee. Besides being known for his talent as a performer, musician and songwriter, Gill is regarded as one of Country Music’s best known humanitarians, participating in hundreds of charitable events throughout his career.
