April 10, 2015 (Durham, NC) – Singer, composer and actor Lyle Lovett returns to DPAC, Durham Performing Arts Center, on August 18, 2015. Come see why he is one of the most infectious and fascinating musicians in popular music. Joining Lovett and His Large Band is acoustic fingerpicking guitarist, Leo Kottke. This will mark Lovett’s 4th appearance at DPAC.

Lyle Lovett has evolved into one of music’s most vibrant and quintessential performers. Coupled with his gift for storytelling, the Texas-based musician fuses elements of country, swing, jazz, folk, gospel and blues in a convention-defying manner that breaks down barriers. He has helped broaden the definition of American music in a career that spans 14 albums.

Among his many accolades includes four Grammy® Awards, Americana Music Association’s inaugural Trailblazer Award, and named the Texas State Musician. Lovett has appeared in 13 feature films, and on stage and television.
