VOLUNTEER: BECOME A DURHAM WAYFINDER
In cooperation with the Durham Convention and Visitors Bureau (DCVB), we would like to invite you to become a charter member of the Durham Wayfinders! As a Wayfinder, you have the privilege of being our guest's first impression of the Durham Performing Arts Center (DPAC). And for many, their first impression of the Durham community.
The Wayfinder's Role
The Wayfinder's goal is to offer excellent guest services by greeting our audiences and helping them navigate their way to and from the theatre from adjacent parking areas. Wayfinders will provide directions and information on area lodging, dining and nightlife in order to help our audience feel welcome and energized about the experience.

As a thank-you for dedicating your valuable time and effort, Durham Wayfinders will earn points toward complimentary tickets for shows at DPAC and other area attractions. (Details of this point system will be explained at our training and orientation sessions.)
Join today!
Be sure to check your interest in "Performing arts venues"! After completing the online enlistment form, you also need to attend both training and orientation provided by DCVB and DPAC. These sessions will be held at our new theatre! To best accomodate your schedule, we will offer various dates for Octrober training sessions and November orientation sessions. (Further details on these sessions will be posted in September and emailed to all enlisted Durham Wayfinders.)
Each unforgettable DPAC experience will begin and end with the Durham Wayfinders. We thank you for your interest in joining this essential volunteer team!

Ushers and ticket takers are also an especially important part of every performance. If you are interested in these paid positions, hiring begins this fall.
