New York has never been so close! Direct-from- New-York, Nederlander presents SunTrust Broadway at DPAC’s, 2012 / 2013 season. We’re calling this our “New York Has Never Been So Close” season, since seven of our eight shows are current hits in New York and one is on its way to Broadway. In total, this new season line-up features twenty-one 2011 Tony ® nominations, nine Tony ® Award winners, and these same shows sold over 2.5 million tickets in New York last year.

Past seasons have always featured many of the newest and most current hits from New York, but this season is truly extraordinary. Triangle Broadway fans will experience the 2011 Tony ® Award winning landmark theater event WAR HORSE, and the must see show of the year, the Durham premiere of JERSEY BOYS. Inspired by an electrifying true story MILLION DOLLAR QUARTET is sure to get you to your feet. Audiences will be mesmerized by the new production of the legendary love story JEKYLL & HYDE starring Constantine Maroulis. And the irresistible Broadway magic of Disney and Cameron Mackintosh’s MARY POPPINS. The season closes out with spring time performances of Broadway’s best new revival ANYTHING GOES, the best two hours on Broadway PRISCILLA QUEEN OF THE DESERT, and Broadway’s funniest new hit musical SISTER ACT.

Tickets for this “New York has Never Been so Close” season are currently available only as part of SunTrust Broadway at DPAC, 2012 / 2013 season ticket packages. Prices for the full eight-show season or the flexible seven-show package vary depending on the number of shows and titles selected.
