Chart-topping American country singer Cody Jinks is making his DPAC debut on November 1, 2018. With his smooth baritone and lonesome, dark-hued country songs, the Saving Country Music Album of the Year award winner is proving that Country Music empowered by credibility has made its way to the masses.
His 2016 critically-acclaimed album I'm Not The Devil smashed his Personal Chart Records, Breaking Top 5 On Billboard Country And Independent Album Charts. Pandora called I'm Not The Devil "a gift from above for country fans of all stripes."
For well over a decade, Cody Jinks has devoted himself to making country music that’s equal parts uncompromising and empathetic, often giving voice to those who exist on the margins of modern life. Since first emerging as a solo artist in the mid-2000s, the Texas-bred singer/songwriter has steadily advanced from playing nearly-empty bar rooms to building a following so dedicated they’ve formed their own fan club—a self-governed group called the Flockers, comprised of 21,000+ members and counting.
With his new album Lifers, Jinks reaffirms his commitment to creating music with purpose and passion, all while turning out songs overflowing with indelible hooks and unbridled energy. Lifers also deepens the spirit of solidarity that’s long guided his every endeavor. Rooted in a relentlessly vital, rock-and-roll steeped country sound. Lifers takes its name from those portrayed in the title track as the “the struggling strifers working long after day is done… It seems they still dream.” With his powerful yet nuanced baritone voice and lyrics that instill so much truth into one single line, Jinks attests to the work of self-preservation in an often unbending world, and ultimately leaves the listener with a profound sense of courage.

For many concert, comedy, and special events at DPAC, we offer added views of the stage with two big screens (size: 16’ x 9’) hung to the sides of the stage or above the stage. These big screens can add to the visual experience of our concert, comedy, and special events and give guests seated farther from the stage what we like to call “a tenth row view”. Approval to use these screens always rests with the visiting show and about half of all concert and comedy events do use these screens.
