Mark Morris Dance Group brings their 1981 masterwork Gloria to the DPAC stage. With music by Antonio Vivaldi, performed live by the Durham Symphony, the North Carolina Master Chorale, and members of the Mark Morris Dance Group. The company will also perform Excursions with music by Samuel Barber and A Lake set to music by Franz Joseph Haydn. Mark Morris Dance Group’s evening performances are dedicated to the North Carolina Arts Council in honor of its 50th Anniversary.

Must be 3 years of age or older to attend an American Dance Festival performance.
Everyone, regardless of age must have a ticket in order to be admitted into the theater.
Photography and Video Recording is prohibited. All electronic devices (cell phones, smart phones, tablets, digital cameras) must be turned off before entering the seating area. Cameras with detachable lens are not allowed into the building.
These one-hour performances are specially curated to ignite and inspire the imaginations of children, and each one is followed by a FREE Kids' Party in the DPAC lobby, complete with live music, face-painting, snacks, and additional activities.
Children of all ages are welcome at the Children’s Matinee. Please note that all guests require a ticket, regardless of age.
Our lobby doors open 60 minutes prior to show time.

For your safety, all guests and their bags are subject to inspection before entry. This inspection may include the use of metal detectors. In addition, we will also now restrict backpacks and any oversized bags larger than 12 inches x 12 inches x 10 inches (about the size of a standard milk crate). Safety first is our goal.
