Vaccination & Negative Test Requirements

DPAC has announced that guests age 12 and older are required to provide documentation of full COVID-19 vaccination status or as an alternative, a recent negative COVID-19 test, for entry into events including Broadway performances, concerts, comedy and special events.

“As one of the most successful entertainment centers of our kind in America, we are joining with the nation’s largest owners and operators of theaters, arenas, amphitheaters and festivals who all are implementing these same requirements,” said Bob Klaus, DPAC’s General Manager. “We’re confident this is the best path forward for our guests, our visiting shows and their casts, crews and performers, plus all of the valued staff and volunteers at DPAC that help in hosting the superstar shows we present.”

DPAC will be requiring face covers to be worn at events, plus continuing the detailed safety protocols implemented this past year prior to DPAC’s reopening: DPAC's Safety First Commitment. Earlier this summer, DPAC required 100% of returning and new employees to be fully vaccinated.

Any special conditions for upcoming events including face covers, record of vaccinations or record of negative tests, will be sent directly to ticketholders and updated regularly on DPAC’s website at DPACnc.com.

These requirements will be reevaluated monthly in consultation with City, County and State officials.

Added Adrienne Quick, DPAC’s Senior Director of Operations: “The good news is that our guests and ticket buyers have several options that can help us come together to keep live events happening.”

Vaccination Requirement FAQ

How do I show record of vaccination when I arrive for my event?

  • At entry, DPAC’s Event Staff will validate your vaccination record.
  • Acceptable documentation may be the original vaccination card, a printed copy of the vaccination card, or a digital copy of such card.
  • Guests may also submit their vaccination record in advance at DPACCheckIn.com and show their confirmation screen at entry.

What if I lost my vaccination card?

  • Check with your vaccination provider; however, a photo of your immunization card or copy of the card is also accepted.

What if I forget my vaccination record?

  • Record of vaccination or PRINTED record of a negative COVID-19 diagnostic test taken within 72-hours prior of the event date are required.

I have received my first COVID-19 vaccination dose, will my first dose vaccination card be accepted at entry?

  • Record of full vaccination requires the last vaccination dose to be administered at least two weeks prior to the event date.
  • If your dose is from a vaccine series that requires two doses, full vaccination status requirement would be met only 14 days after the second dose.
  • For those guests who have only received the first of two doses, PRINTED record of a negative COVID-19 diagnostic test taken within 72-hours of the event date is required.

I’ve had Covid. Do I still need to be tested or obtain a vaccine?

  • Record of vaccination or PRINTED record of a negative COVID-19 diagnostic test taken within 72-hours of the event date are always required.

Are only certain vaccines recognized by DPAC?

  • DPAC is following the lead of Broadway theaters in New York and the national trade association, The Broadway League, and the experts they have retained and consulted with when setting these standards.
  • Their current standard (and ours) is to accept FDA or WHO authorized vaccines as listed on the link below.
  • For a list of FDA or WHO accepted vaccines please visit: COVID-19 Vaccine Tracker
  • Our apologies as this current standard does not recognize vaccine clinical trials until those trials move forward and are formally approved for public use by the FDA or WHO.

Negative COVID-19 Test Result

  • Unvaccinated guests must have received a negative COVID-19 diagnostic test within 72-hours of the event date AND provide PRINTED record of a negative result prior to entry for the event.
