Montgomery Gentry and Kacey Musgraves Headline Fifth QDR Country for Kids Concert at DPAC on November 15
September 19, 2014 (Durham, NC) – 94.7 QDR and Curtis Media Group announced today their annual “Country for Kids” concert will be held at DPAC, Durham Performing Arts Center, on November 15, 2014. Now in its fifth year, Country for Kids will feature four concerts in one with live performances from some of country’s best including local favorite Jason Michael Carroll, hot new stars The Cadillac Three, Grammy and ACM Album of the Year winner Kacey Musgraves and platinum-selling duo Montgomery Gentry.
Proceeds from the concert will benefit the North Carolina Children’s Hospital as part of the thirteenth annual N.C. Children’s Promise Radiothon held on November 20, 2014. The event will be a day full of miraculous stories being broadcast live from the N.C. Children’s Hospital lobby on Curtis Media Group radio stations. The annual radiothon is UNC Health Care’s largest fundraising event each year which raised over $1.2 million in 2013.
