Elvis Costello and The Imposters with Charlie Sexton Ambassador Blog

By Tierney

Last night I had the privilege to see the amazing Elvis Costello. Before the show, I worked with three amazing volunteers in the curb-to-seat position where we help people get from their car to their seat if they have any need. I learned about the volunteers experience working at DPAC and their favorite parts of the job. In addition to helping people to their seats, we also greeted guests as they entered DPAC. The volunteers made the cold evening memorable with their conversations and stories.

After working the position, I grabbed a hot chocolate and made my way to my seat. The show was really fun. The stage was full of instruments and they used colorful stage lights to make the show more interesting. Elvis Costello entertained the crowd with his stories and songs. Everyone was dancing in their seats and having a good time. He performed for an impressive two and a half hours straight and used a variety of instruments including multiple types of guitars and the piano. This was such a fun and enjoyable night!
