Two Perspectives at Lindsey Sterling

Interactive Experience: Cora Stumpf

I got to work as a Showstopper at the Lindsey Stirling holiday concert, and I had an amazing time. The Showstoppers get to hold the door and greet all of the guests that come into DPAC. I had never worked as a Showstopper before, but I loved the experience–specifically getting to see all of the guests excited for the concert and all of their costumes and festive attire was so much fun. One family even told us that they had driven all the way from Virginia. They were so excited to be at DPAC. I also really enjoyed that I got to interact with so many people and be a part of what makes the DPAC guests feel so welcome.

Known for her performances on America’s Got Talent, her holiday tours, a massive online presence, and even her appearance on season 25 of Dancing with the Stars, I was so fortunate to see Lindsey Sterling live. I quickly learned that along with being a talented violinist, Lindsey Stirling is also an excellent performer. She brought so much holiday cheer through her dancing, singing, storytelling, and even her performance on aerial silks and hoops. Throughout her concert, she had many moments that included the audience, which allowed for a more interactive experience that everyone loved. I am so grateful for this experience and that I had a chance to see DPAC come alive during the concert. I always love my time working at DPAC and the Lindsey Stirling concert was no exception.

Holiday Spirit: Noah Jackson

Working as a Showstopper for Lindsey Stirling’s holiday concert was an amazing experience. Showstoppers are the first people guests meet when they arrive at DPAC—holding doors, greeting everyone with a smile, and helping create a strong first impression of the night. Seeing so many happy and excited faces instantly brought great joy to me during the evening. The holiday spirit was everywhere, with festive outfits, families ready for a fun night out, and tons of excitement to see Lindsey Stirling live. It set the tone for a memorable performance before anyone even stepped inside the theater.

The show itself was incredible. Lindsey’s blend of violin and dance was spot-on and truly impressive. She shared personal stories that inspired her music, and performed many recognizable Christmas and pop songs with a holiday twist that had the crowd fully engaged. Her creativity, talent, and stage presence made the concert unforgettable. From start to finish, it was a 10/10 experience, and one I’m grateful I got to be a part of as a Teen Ambassador.
