Miss Saigon was a musical unlike any other. I had gone into the show completely blind to the plot thus giving me no expectations as to what the show should look like. The limited dialogue, that of which remained within the songs, gave it an operatic feel. The music was so capturing, there was not a moment where I wasn’t completely drawn in. The talent was phenomenal, exceeding my blind expectations of a broadway production. The character Kim’s ability to portray such raw emotion through not only her physical movements, but through her voice as well, was outstanding. I would positively recommend this show to anyone searching for what true talent and vulnerability on stage looks like.
