Rescheduled Shows at DPAC - Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ):

When an event you have tickets for at DPAC is rescheduled, we’re here to help.  We look forward to welcoming everyone back to DPAC.

For most events, your original tickets are still valid – no exchange is necessary.  For more information or questions not answered below, please email us at customerservice@dpacnc.com.

Please note that this applies only to those that purchased tickets online or by phone with DPAC or Ticketmaster, or in person at the Blue Cross Blue Shield of North Carolina - Ticket Center at DPAC.  If you are not the original purchaser or purchased from a third-party source, please return to your original point of purchase to see what options they are offering.

Will I have the same seats and performance time for the new date(s)?

Yes.  Your original tickets are still valid – no exchange is necessary.  For shows that have multiple performances, your tickets will be valid for the same performance day and time. *Dates are subject to change.

Occasionally, a show will not be able to reschedule for the same day of the week or performance time.  When this happens, we’ll include these details in the email announcing the new date(s).

If I can’t attend the new dates, can I exchange my tickets for another date?

For shows that have multiple performances, we’re happy to exchange your tickets for another performance of the same show.  There’s usually a fee of $10 per ticket for exchanges, but this fee is waived for Truist Broadway season seat members and for requests made within 30 days of the announcement of the new dates.

For events with just one performance, if the new date does not work for you, we can return your tickets for a credit on your DPAC account.  This credit does not expire and can be used toward the purchase of any future DPAC event.  Please note that requests for credit must be made within 30 days of the announcement of the new dates.

What happens if the show is later cancelled?

If an event you have tickets for is cancelled, you will automatically receive a refund.  Refunds are expected to be processed in as soon as 30 days from the date the announcement is made.  Please note that this automatic refund applies only to those that purchased tickets online or by phone with DPAC or Ticketmaster, or in person at the Blue Cross Blue Shield of North Carolina - Ticket Center at DPAC.  If you are not the original purchaser or purchased from a third-party source, please return to your original point of purchase to see what options they are offering.

What if I just want a refund?

Unfortunately, DPAC does not control refund decisions for all of the events we host.

For most shows, you can request a full refund or a credit toward the purchase of tickets to another DPAC event if the request is made within 30 days of the announcement of the new dates.  This refund or credit can be requested by emailing us at customerservice@dpacnc.com.

For some shows, the promoter may choose to not allow refunds since the show has been rescheduled.  Contractually this is a decision often times controlled by the show itself.  If you are unable to attend the new performance date(s) of a show you have tickets for, you can always email us at customerservice@dpacnc.com to see what options exist.
