The announcement follows a period of sustained creative milestones for Richter, including the recent release of his original soundtrack for Chloé Zhao’s forthcoming feature film Hamnet, for which he was nominated for a Critics Choice Award, Golden Globe and now Academy Award.

The North American dates also follow the tenth anniversary celebrations of Richter’s landmark project SLEEP, marked in September by the largest SLEEP performances to date at London’s Alexandra Palace, alongside the release of Sleep Circle - a hallucinatory 90-minute journey into the hypnagogic state.

Widely regarded as one of the most influential composers of his generation, Richter is renowned for his ability to seamlessly merge classical orchestration with contemporary electronic elements. His work has resonated deeply with audiences worldwide, with his catalogue amassing over three billion streams to date.

Beyond his solo output, Richter is a prolific collaborator whose work spans fashion, dance, film and television. His credits include scoring Dior shows for Kim Jones, composing ballets choreographed by Wayne McGregor, and creating soundtracks for acclaimed directors including Denis Villeneuve, Martin Scorsese and Ari Folman.

Richter is co-founder of Studio Richter Mahr alongside his partner, visual artist Yulia Mahr. Located in the Oxfordshire countryside, the multimedia studio is housed within a former farmhouse powered by cutting-edge solar and heat-pump technology. Set across 31 acres of woodland, the space reflects a deep commitment to sustainability and provides a creative environment for both emerging and established artists.
