Groups Frequently Asked Questions

How many tickets qualify as a Group?

We welcome all guests with 10 or more tickets for the same performance to take advantage of our Group pricing. Please note that all tickets for a Group must be for the same performance.

How do I find out about new shows, special offers, and other Group promotions?

You can stay up to date through our website or through our Group email list. Sign up for our Groups Email List.

How much does bringing a Group save?

The majority of performances for Broadway shows at DPAC offer special pricing and reduced ticket fees that can offer your Group real savings. Savings start at 10% for groups of 10 or more. In addition, some shows will also offer Groups of 20 or 40+ a complimentary ticket for the Group organizer. You can find this information on each show’s price chart on our Groups webpage.

What shows offer Group savings?

The majority of our Broadway performances offer Group savings. Select concerts, comedy, and other special events sometimes offer Group savings as well. Here's a list of upcoming events with Groups savings.

Is there a minimum age requirement for children?

Please note that all guests require a ticket, regardless of age. Children under the age of 6 will NOT be admitted to the theater, unless otherwise stated. Children must be able to sit quietly in their own seat without disturbing other guests.

How early can I purchase tickets?

Groups will be able to purchase tickets prior to the public on-sale, including our Greatest Hits of Broadway shows and our Broadway at DPAC shows. Please note that for our season shows, there may be very limited availability.

Do all my seats have to be in the same section/price range?

Not at all! As long as you are purchasing at least 10 seats for the same performance, they can be located wherever you would like.

I don’t belong to an obvious Group. How can I benefit from a Group discount?

Groups are social organizations, a family get-together or reunion, fundraisers, girls’ night out, corporate outings, meet-up groups or just about anyone who wants to get a Group of 10 or more together and take advantage of our Group discount.

How do I purchase Group tickets?

You can order Group tickets in any of the following ways:

How are Group tickets paid for?

  • A 10% non-refundable deposit is due at the time of reservation to place a hold on your seats.
  • Final payments are due usually 6 weeks before the show opens at DPAC. The remaining balance will be automatically processed with the card used for your deposit, unless you have contacted us and told us otherwise.

Please note that some shows will require final payments to be made sooner.

  • If you purchase seats after the final payment date has passed, you will be required to pay for your tickets in full.
  • Special payment deadlines may be available for school groups. Please email us at Groups@DPACnc.com for more information.

What forms of payment do you accept?

You may pay by Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover. You may also pay with a corporate or business check. Please note that we do not accept multiple forms of payment for a Group purchase.

What if I need to add or drop seats from my Group order?

You may modify the number of tickets you order at any time, provided we have the availability, as long as you keep at or above 10 seats for the same performance. Please note that prices are subject to change as the show draws closer. Once final payments are made, all sales are final and there are no refunds or exchanges.

When and how do I get my Group tickets?

Once full payment has been made, the tickets will be delivered to you based on the method of delivery you selected when placing your order.

  • Pick up at the Box Office prior to the show
  • Pick up at the Box Office on the day of the show
  • Electronic delivery through the DPAC app
  • Mailed to one address for a $2.50 mailing fee

Please note that Groups of 30+ may be required to have physical tickets.

Where do I park my bus?

We will need to know at least 2 weeks prior to the start of the show if you are bringing a bus. If we are not informed by then, we cannot guarantee that we will have parking available for you.

  • Please have the name of your school/group on the passenger side of the bus where we can easily identify your group as you arrive.
  • You should enter Vivian Street/William V 'Bill' Bell Way from Blackwell Street where you will meet a Parking Attendant who will then direct you where to drop off your group.
  • Drivers will then be directed to where they will park.
  • If your bus driver does not have a ticket to the show, please make sure to get their cell phone number so that you can communicate with them following the performance when it is time to leave.
  • All bus/van parking will be within walking distance of the theater

What if winter weather prevents me from attending?

During winter weather months, all performances scheduled at DPAC normally take place as planned. If weather or travel conditions prevent you from attending a show, DPAC staff will do what they can to make an accommodation of some kind, but this accommodation will vary from show to show. Before purchasing tickets at DPAC, please know that all sales are final. For additional questions, please contact Groups@DPACnc.com
